Over the course of a day there are many little things we find ourselves involved with. These things end up wasting valuable time. They can be classified as urgent and not important. They only have short-term implications. We need to focus on the things that are important and accomplish them first. Highlight them on your to do list and give them priority in your day.

Set aside a block of time during your day to accomplish the little things and focus on getting them done quickly. Do this only after the important tasks are complete.
