Vance Havner said, "The vision must be followed by the venture. It is not enough to stare up the steps. We must step up the stairs." Each step you take represents an accomplished goal. Accomplish enough goals and you will soon be at the top. This is what you need to do.
Before you map out the steps that lead to making your vision a reality, you have to know what that vision is. You can't set incremental goals without having vision. So take some time to really think about what it is you want to accomplish. Don't underestimate your ability, but, on the other hand, don't overestimate it and shoot for something that is unreasonable. Losing 10 pounds in two months is reasonable; losing 30 pounds in six weeks is not. Set yourself up for success.
