"Is exercise enjoyable or boring? I would have to say both. At times I feel it gets a little stale. During these times I continue to do it because I know it's good for me. Heck, we don't eat peas because we like them; we eat them because they are good for us! My workouts consist mainly of lifting weights and playing ice hockey in the winter with the kids I coach. Exercise, for me, is an opportunity to get away from things. I also see it as a way to keep in shape, so as I get older, I can continue to play golf, volleyball, and waterski. Most of the time I do find exercise enjoyable; however, there are weeks when I get bored with it. During these times I think of all the reasons I'm doing it and it keeps me going."
